On Wednesday, legal counselors Rachel Bond and Sheila Millar from Keller & Heckman will present the latest developments on EPR laws across U.S. states, which regulate disposal of specific materials used by manufacturers and related industries.
State EPR laws, particularly Oregon's framework, are currently facing legal challenges. Bond and Millar will analyze the potential implications for states that have modeled their EPR legislation after Oregon's approach, and examine how current challenges to EPR and recycling laws may influence future policy consideration and administration.
